I was born in of August, 1998. I was a happy little baby, always giggling and smiling. When I was four, I started nursery. I made a few friends. Some kids didn’t like me but that was okay; I had my friends. When I started reception, I still didn’t have control of my bladder. It took me time to take control of it, but up until then I was ‘’smelly pants’’ and ‘’nappy girl.’’ My friends started to avoid me and would talk about me behind my back. In year 1, I started putting on weight. I ate my sorrows away. Children would call me fatty and other names, throwing food at me and laughing like I was a circus animal. This carried on until year 4. I came down with depression early and cried myself to sleep every night. Every day during lunch and breaks I would sneak around the building to the front gate when my mother would bring my little brother to nursery. I used to beg her to bring me home, almost pleading. The names and abuse drove me crazy; she would go into the office and demand why I was alone in that condition. The teachers did nothing; they didn’t care.
